CLUB INFO
We are a small club with a wide age range & abilities from beginners to those with many years experience. We count amongst us members of British Blind Sports Archery & disabled archers.
The club is affiliated to the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) and your beginner’s course / membership fees covers your GNAS membership & insurance, allowing you to take part in GNAS organised competitions.
Members of other clubs and affiliates are welcome to come along and shoot with us (so long as you can produce your GNAS, FITA, British Lonbow Society or British Blind Sports membership cards). So if you’re in the area and have your bow with you, you’ll receive a warm welcome. To find us, click here.
Club days are as follows
WINTER SEASON
Saturday 1pm - 4pm
SUMMER SEASON
Saturday 1pm - 4pm
Tuesday 7pm - Dusk
Unfortunately, due to circumstances at our shooting site, we can only shoot indoors on a Saturday this season and on a Tuesday evening, when the weather is suitable, at a separate site.
Many of our members regularly take part in competitions and past members have represented both County & Country. Senior members are happy to help with your technique or offer advice on equipment.
So, whatever level you wish to aim for in the sport whether purely leisure or have more serious ambitions you will always find someone in the club willing to help.
