The club has a wide age range and has male and female archers. There are also a number of up-and-coming junior archers. The members shoot a range of different bows. There are lots of opportunities to learn to shoot (see Beginners courses).
The club is affiliated to the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS). GNAS membership provides the insurance cover for our training courses, and for members after they have completed training.
Club members also shoot in team competitions, and so are always ready to help each other to improve their technique. As a small club, this also filters through, so that you can always ask another member for help if needed.
We count amongst our regulars members of British Blind Sports Archery and disabled archers.
Our archers have represented both County and Country, but new members may practice the sport to whatever level they wish.
Membership fees are payable each September.
Club fee includes Grand National Archery Society Membership; covering insurance and enabling you to take part in GNAS organised archery tournaments.
