We regularly run beginners courses. They are usually held on Saturdays at the club grounds (Torquay Community College by Cricketfield Road). Courses will be held inside the hall in winter, or in wet weather.
Please give us a call if you would like to come along and we will arrange a start date for you. The courses start when we have a group of a reasonable size, so please make sure you are booked on the course in advance.
The course consists of four, one hour lessons. During the course you will be instructed on safety, basic archery practice, bare bow and free-style techniques. Training is given by a senior club member, under direction of one of the club coaches

The cost is £20 for four lessons, including equipment hire. Should you wish to join the club after you complete the course, we suggest that you do not immediately purchase your own bow. You may continue to use club equipment for a nominal charge (£1 per session). This will give you a much better idea of what size, and type of bow will suit you for the long-term.
